FOUR more East Lancashire libraries will reopen on Wednesday next week with revised hours and new arrangements to visit
They are among 15 more county council libraries to come back on stream while hours will be extended for those which have already reopened.
The four in East Lancashire to reopen are Clitheroe, Colne, Padiham and Whitworth.
Already operating are the libraries in Accrington, Chorley, Coal Clough, Nelson, Rawtenstall, Whalley, Bacup, Barnoldswick, Brierfield, Clayton Green, Great Harwood and Longridge.
From Monday 7 September, the opening times of all of the libraries that have reopened will revert to their usual Monday to Saturday hours.
During their visits, customers will be required to wear a face covering
Cllr Peter Buckley, Lancashire County Council's cultural boss, said: ""We are cautiously making our way back to normal and taking a phased, step-by-step approach to our libraries reopening. We are also making more of our services available in the libraries as well."
