UPDATE: Rosie has now been found safe and well
A woman who was last seen wearing a multi-coloured top and blue shorts is missing from Accrington.
Police say they are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of Rosie Whittaker, who is 42-years-old and has not been seen since 7pm on Tuesday.
Officers in the town have released an appeal to find Rosie, who they believe was last spotted near the Market Hall in Accrington town centre.
A spokesperson for the police said: "We are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of missing person Rosie Whittaker, 42 years of age, from Accrington.
"Rosie has not been seen since 7pm on Tuesday.
"She was last seen in Accrington town centre near the Market Hall."
Rosie is a white female, of average build, around 5ft 6in tall with short light brown hair.
She also wears glasses and was last seen wearing a multi coloured top, light blue shorts and gold sandals.
Anyone with any information as to her whereabouts, or to report any sightings, please contact the police on 101 quoting log reference 175 of September 2.
