HYNDBURN MP Sara Britcliffe has been out and about supporting and promoting local businesses in her constituency

First stop was Warner Street Accrington to visit the newly-opened Feral and Funky Kids Co.

Owned by Hollie Barnes, it specialises in fun and colourful clothing for babies and younger children.

Another new business she dropped in on was The Town Kitchen on Church Street Accrington, a sandwich shop offering daily specials, homemade soups and freshly-baked cakes and treats.

Miss Britcliffe also visited Playtime soft playcentre on John Street, Oswaldtwistle, currently closed by guidelines such premises must remain closed.

She sat down with the owner, Jodie to listen to her concerns to support her lobbying of governement to get playcentres are opened swiftly but safely.

Miss Britcliffe said “It was great to be out and about this week visiting local businesses. Small businesses are so important to Hyndburn’s economy as we come out of lockdown and I wish all business in Hyndburn that are newly opened or reopening all the very best of luck."
