A BUSINESS has laid itself bare by stripping for a charity calendar.

Fifty staff from Daisy Communications, Lomeshaye Industrial Estate, Nelson, stripped off for the calendar in aid of Breakthrough Breast Cancer and Everyman, which researches cures into prostate and testicular cancer.

All departments, from the repair team to the board room, took part in the shoot which saw staff covering their modesty in a number of poses.

And after some initial nerves, they soon got into their new roles. Emily Molloy, of Barnoldswick, works in sales support and was one of the August models.

She said: "Once you've had children you lose all your dignity anyway.

"But joking apart, it was a little nerve-racking but when everyone got into the spirit it was all right and we ended up having a really good laugh."

Matthew Wilcock, from Burnley, a customer adviser and Mr May', said: "I didn't realise how cold it was in the building until I took my clothes off. But it was great and obviously for a good cause. I wouldn't think twice about doing it again."

Marketing executive Gillian McCammon, of Blackburn, was one of the models for June.

She said: "If I said I wasn't petrified on the day, I'd be lying.

"But once the clothes were off it turned out to be one of the funniest things I've done."

Calendars are on sale priced £3 direct from Daisy on 01282 608984 or by visiting www.daisyplc.com.
