A FIRE broke out last night at an unoccupied terrace house on Sharp Street, Burnley.
Firefighters were called to the scene just after 10pm on Monday August 7, with two engines from Burnley and another from Nelson.
They remained on the scene for around four hours and extinguished the blaze using hose reels and breathing apparatus'.
Fortunately due to the house being unoccupied no one was injured and the blaze did not spread to neighbouring properties.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
