THE latest figures on a coronavirus cases map show how infection rates have changed over the last week.

The figures, released by the Government, detail the number of people who tested positive for COVID-19 between the period of August 5 and 11 by the postcode they are registered to.

The latest data shows the areas with the highest numbers of cases for that period were Nelson West with 30 new cases, Central Blackburn with 19 and Roe Lee, Brownhill and Sunnybower with 20.

Lancashire Telegraph:

The darker blue the area, the higher the cases.

Last week, Audley, Nelson West and Bastwell recorded the highest number of cases.

The data shows no cases recorded at all in Darwen, Ewood and Fenhurst, Great Harwood or Wilpshire and Mellor, among other areas.

See below for the full list or access the map here.

If your ward is not on the list, it is because no new cases were recorded over the 5-11th of August.

The first number is the latest figure, followed by last week’s number of positive tests in brackets.
