BOXER Tyson Fury has been photographed with a police dog after a boxing session on the beach of his hometown.
The two-time heavyweight world champion came to the attention of officers after the large crowd was seen gathering on the sand in Morecambe.
Fury was found carrying out a pad work session with his dad John while a crowd watched on.
However after the session the 32-year-old, originally from Wythenshawe, stopped to have a chat with officers and posed for a picture with a police dog.
Fury made the seaside town his permanent home in 2011.
In a tweet on their account, a spokesman said: “Report of large groups on beach, we attended and saw Tyson Fury sparing with John Fury. Advice given re covid social distance.
“The large crowd were all spaced and watching from safe distances. Everyone having a safe evening watching the master at work.”
Fury took to his Instagram last night to thank officers for keeping those in attendance safe.
