POLICE have imposed a 48-hour dispersal order to crackdown on anti-social behaviour and teenagers taking part in a party in Colne.
It comes after 11 calls were made to police last weekend after a large group of youths held a party in the wooded area near family homes and left empty bottles, plastic rubbish on Cotton Tree Lane.
The order is authorised from 7pm on August 7 until 7pm on August 9.
Insp Scott Boast posted on the social media channels about the news yesterday afternoon saying the use of the pre-planned S34 Dispersal Order under the Anti-Social, Crime and Policing Act 2014.
He said: "The behaviour and damage we have seen within that area over the last few weeks is absolutely unacceptable and we will target those responsible.
"Please do not let it be you or your children. There will be additional resources over the weekend working within this area."
