Traffic is now flowing towards Blackburn town centre along Victoria Street.
Recent changes to the road system in the area have reversed the flow of traffic and motorists can now turn off Barbara Castle Way onto Victoria Street, Blackburn.
Roadworks on Barbara Castle Way are slowly coming to an end.
New pay and display parking bays have also been introduced on Victoria Street outside Meena Bakery and M Zahid Travel.
A lane has been widened for those turning on right on to Victoria Street towards Whalley Range and an extra set of lights have been installed allowing motorists to join Barbara Castle Way from Tontine Street and Richmond Hill.
Drivers can now also turn on Tontine Street and head into the town centre past Richmond Terrace on the left.
Work on the £2.9million project started in 2019.
