THIS week’s bouquet of the week goes to a woman who has been nominated because she is a cut above the rest.

Trish Brown, of Trish Brown hairdressing, West Auckland Road, Darlington, is our worthy recipient after being nominated by one of her clients, Lisa Spooner.

Lisa said: “Trish is passionate about great customer care and about hair. She was devastated when her salon had to close, but everyday she did a personal blog with tips on hair care and keeping everyone informed about what will happen when the salon re opens.

“I have finally had my hair done in the salon and I have to say that the attention to detail in her health and safety procedures for her staff and clients is to be commended.

“She has also been a fabulous employer to her employees, I have heard they speak very highly of her.”

Lisa said one of the most deserving things Trish has done is provide the blog during lockdown, helpful tips on hair care, and answered any hair care questions personally. Lisa said: “Trish cared about her clients who she knew were on their own by calling them to see how they were. She provides outstanding customer care as well as outstanding health and safety in her salon.”

Trish is a hard-working business owner who is passionate about hair, but also about her staff and clientele. She is always helpful, friendly, caring and remembers every conversation she has had with her clients and greets each customer by their name.

Asked to describe Trish in three words, Lisa said: “She is passionate, professional and caring.”
