Police are asking the owner of this vehicle to come forward after it was seized when the driver abandoned it.
Officers in Colne attempted to stop the Golf on Saturday afternoon but instead of pulling over the driver tried to speed off from the police.
It was later discovered abandoned, with the driver nowhere to be seen.
Officers proceeded to seize the vehicle as on inspection they found it had two bald tyres and a fault with the exhaust.
A spokesperson for the police said: "This Golf R failed to stop for me in Colne.
"I found it abandoned a short time later.
"Unluckily for the owner, as well as being seized, it has been prohibited for two bald tyres and exhaust fault.
"If the owner wants to get in touch I have a host of offences waiting."
