A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital following a crash outside the Co-op.
At around 2.50pm on Tuesday, emergency services were called to Harwood Road in Rishton after a Peugout 207 and a motorbike collided outside the supermarket, between Brook Street and High Street.
The extent of the motorcyclist's injuries are not yet known but it is believed the man was taken to Royal Preston Hospital.
The driver of the car, a woman in her 20s was not thought to be injured in the crash.
A police spokesperson said: "We were called at 2.50pm to a collision between a motorbike and a car.
"The motorcyclist, a man, was taken to Royal Preston Hospital for treatment.
"A road closure was put in place between High Street and Brook Street, outside the Co-op, and police blocked off the southbound lane."
