A man has suffered a serious injury to his jaw after being assaulted outside a bar.
At around 1am on Saturday July 18, an assault took place outside the No.62 bar on Albert Road in Colne.
Police are now appealing for witnesses after they were contacted by the victim when he attended Royal Blackburn Hospital for his injuries.
Officers are keen to stress that the incident is not in any way related to No.62 bar, it just occurred outside the venue.
A spokesperson for the police said: "In the early hours of Saturday July 18 around 1am, an assault occurred outside the No.62 bar on Albert Rd, Colne.
"The victim, who suffered a serious injury to his jaw, made contact after visiting Royal Blackburn Hospital.
