A car was abandoned at the side of the road after the driver tried to avoid a speed camera.
On Thursday evening police were conducting a speed checkpoint in Hurst Green in the Ribble Valley.
The vehicle, pictured, tried to avoid the checkpoint before the driver abandoned the car nearby.
Officers seized the car and are now carrying out enquiries to determine who the owner was.
A spokesperson for the road police said: "This evening HQ80 were conducting a speed checkpoint in Hurst Green when this vehicle attempted to avoid the checkpoint.
"The vehicle has been seized for being abandoned.
"Further enquiries are to be carried out."
