THREE Southampton residents have scooped £1,000 each thanks to their lucky postcode.

The Lower Chase Road neighbours netted the four-figure prize when SO32 2PB was announced as a Daily Prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery on Tuesday 7th July 2020.

Six people in Holbury are also celebrating today after winning £1,000.

The neighbours from Watton Road netted the windfall when SO45 2LW was announced as a Daily Prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery on Wednesday 8th July 2020.

Offering his congratulations, People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson said: “What an amazing surprise for our winners! Congratulations to them and I hope they go and treat themselves to something nice with their winnings.”

A minimum of 32% of postcode lottery ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have so far raised over £500 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.

This draw was promoted by Girlguiding which has received over £5.2 million in funding from the players of People’ Postcode Lottery. Girlguiding is active in every part of the UK, giving girls and young women a space where they can be themselves, have fun, build brilliant friendships, gain valuable life skills and make a positive difference to their lives and their communities.

Many good causes close to the winners have also benefitted from players’ support, and local charities can next apply for funding in August.
