IF ever a photograph captured more innocent times then this is probably it. Taken in 1964 it shows four friends sat on the cobbles on St James Street, Padiham, likely as not planning their next adventure.
These were the days when children would spend hours playing outside. There were far fewer cars on the road and neighbours would all keep an eye on the children of the street.
Who know what these four got up to but if you were one of the children or recognise any of them email bygones@nqnw.co.uk and tell us more.
