There have been no new covid-19 deaths at Royal Bolton Hospital for over three weeks, according to data released by NHS England.
Since the outbreak began there have been 221 deaths related to coronavirus in the hospital, with the last patient passing away on June 10.
In the past five days 22 people have died due to the virus in the region, bringing the total number of deaths in the North West to 4,702.
These figures could change due to delays in reporting coronavirus related deaths. They also do not include deaths in the community or in care homes.
Government data has revealed that there have been 176 new deaths in the UK, in total 43,906 people have died from the coronavirus nationally.
The total number of cases of coronavirus in the UK is 313,483. In Bolton the total number of positive coronavirus cases to date is 1,063.
