WE’VE all thought about it numerous times throughout lockdown, no matter how hard we may have tried not to.

And at last the time has arrived – the Great British Boozer is back, with pubs across the country planning to open their doors on Saturday.

However if you have had images in your head of enjoying a few pints in your local’s beer garden this weekend, you may be disappointed – as after weeks of beautiful weather across the county, we look set for a lot of rain this weekend. Classic.

According to the Met Office Forecast, heavy rain clouds are expected to settle over Blackburn on Saturday morning, shifting slightly over lunchtime.

By the afternoon wind and patchy showers are still expected, with temperatures of around 15 degrees not looking ideal for a session in the pub garden.

By Sunday some sunshine is expected to break through the clouds, yet rain is still expected throughout much of the day.

Oh well, there is always next weekend.
