The Mayor of Bolton visited a major supermarket earlier this week to recognise them for their work during the coronavirus.
Mayor Linda Thomas visited the Sainsbury's Store in Trinity Street on Tuesday June 23 to award the store manager, Karl Kojro with one of the Mayor's recognition certificates.
This certificate was awarded to "say a huge thank you to all the stores staff, the hard work they have done during lockdown and continuing to work during the height of the pandemic."
Mr Kojro said: "The Mayor was very impressed with how we are utilising technology to help keep our customer and colleagues safe, the lengths we have gone to protect colleagues at the checkouts and how much work and effort goes into our Online operation from picking to delivery."
