POLICE in Blackburn arrested a 46-year-old man in Blackburn on June 26 on suspicion of burglary and actual bodily harm.
The arrest was made at around 6.30pm after officers from Team 1 response were asked to attend to an incident in a garden on Woodlea Road, where the man had been detained by a number of members of the public.
After reviewing mobile phone footage taken earlier that day which identified the man as responsible for a burglary and for assaulting one of the members of the public at the scene, officers arrested the man.
A police spokesperson said: "As always thanks for all your efforts.
"We will continue to proactively target individuals who think it’s okay to go out committing crime."
