Two vehicles have collided outside the entrance to Burnley General Hospital.
Police are dealing with the incident on Casterton Avenue and have closed surrounding roads.
A Lancashire Police spokesperson said: "We are currently dealing with a road traffic collision involving a couple of vehicles outside the entrance to Burnley general hospital on Casterton Avenue.
"The road has temporarily been closed from the roundabout at the junction off Briercliffe Road and also the other side of Casterton Avenue near the entrance of Burnley general hospital."
Officers have asked people to avoid the area until further notice.
