Bolton West and Atherton MP Chris Green shared his support for the reopening of shops.
From yesterday non-essential shops can reopen following their closure during lockdown, as long as they have safety measures in place.
In a statement shared on Facebook, the MP said: "High streets in Bolton West and Atherton are back in business.
"From today, shops across Bolton West's lovely towns and villages will start to reopen.
"I know that many of our fantastic local businesses have been working hard behind the scenes to ensure that customers can shop safely.
"Let's support our fab small businesses and shop local."
