A Golf driver was arrested in the early hours of Monday morning, after police discovered he'd been smoking cannabis.
The car was pulled over by officers in Nelson, and when asked to provide a drugs wipe for the police, the driver unfortunately tested positive.
He was arrested at the scene and dealt with by officers.
Posting on Twitter, officers from the road police said: "Driver of this Golf was stopped in Nelson and provided a positive drug wipe for cannabis.
"Driver arrested."
