Firefighters near Preston have helped put up a mural to celebrate NHS and key workers.

The collage, painted by local school children and supported by Wyre Art Group, was placed by firefighters in Garstang at the side of the town's One Stop shop.

A firefighter on Twitter said: "Ta da! We might not be clapping on a Thursday night anymore, but we still want to say a massive thank you to all the healthcare professionals, police officers, teachers, farmers, delivery drivers, soldiers and every other key worker out there."

The crew put up the piece in between callouts and said the kids had done a "great job" and thanked their fellow key workers for their efforts during the coronavirus crisis.
