Police are concerned for the welfare of a cap-wearing man who hasn't been seen since Saturday afternoon.

Officers say missing Andrew Harris from Langho, has connections to Preston and Manchester and could have travelled to either city by taxi.

The 39-year-old hasn't been seen or heard from since 1pm on Saturday.

A spokesperson for the police said: "We are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of missing person Andrew Harris, 39 from the Langho area, who has not been seen or heard from since 1pm on Saturday June 6.

"He is a white male, 5"10, of medium build, with short brown hair - however he is said to be always wearing a cap.

"He was last seen wearing a black cap, black jacket, blue jeans and black trainers.

"We believe Andrew has connections to the Preston and Manchester areas and may have travelled there by train or taxi."

Sgt Kirsty Stoddard, of Blackburn Police, said: "We are extremely worried about Andrew and are asking anybody who sees him, or has information about where he may be, to let us know straight away."

If you have seen Andrew since his disappearance, you are urged to contact the police on 101 and quote log number 0678 of June 6.
