The driver was caught doing 90mph while using his mobile phone
The driver of this car sped past police on the M6 at more than 90mph, while also using his mobile phone.
Officers pulled the motorist and upon inspection discovered he wasn't actually insured to drive the vehicle either.
And to top matters off, he dropped and smashed his mobile phone mid-stop.
A spokesperson for the police said: "This car overtook HO40 on the M6 at Leyland at over 90mph whilst the driver was using their mobile phone.
"When stopped it also transpired they weren't insured on their mates' traders policy as they thought.
"The irony was that they dropped and smashed their phone during the stop."
