Road safety groups have hit out at drivers who continue to speed on the M6 after detecting one vehicle doing an eye-watering 135mph.
Lancashire Road Safety clocked the driver racing northbound on the busy motorway on Saturday afternoon, with bosses from the group saying the speeds are 'totally unacceptable'.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Road Safety said: "This afternoon one of our safety camera vans has enforced the M6 between junction 32 and 33.
"It detected a vehicle travelling at 135mph.
"This is totally unacceptable.
"The M6 is not and should not be used as your personal race track.
"That driver will now be facing a fine, points and ban."
