Two men will be spending the next five months in jail after they nicked a TV and hair clippers from a barber shop.

On Sunday May 24, the men broke into John's Barbers and Karen's Sweets and Treats on Accrington Road in Burnley.

When officers were called to the scene they detained 29-year-old Paul Denwood inside the shop, while 31-year-old Mark Donaldson was discovered in the yard at the rear of the property.

A spokesperson for the police said: "Paul Denwood, 29, and Mark Donaldson, 31, both of Gill Street, Burnley, were recently handed 20 weeks imprisonment after being convicted of burglary.

"Stock including a TV and hair clippers had been stolen.2
