A driver who travelled to the seaside to enjoy the sunshine was booked by police and had his car seized after testing positive for cannabis.
Just before 9pm on Monday, officers stopped this vehicle as it was leaving Blackpool.
The driver was asked to provide a roadside drug wipe for cannabis, and tested positive.
He was consequently arrested and his car was seized by officers.
A spokesperson for the police said: "If you travel to Blackpool with your friends to enjoy the sunshine and take cannabis don’t be surprised if you then provide a positive roadside drug wipe for cannabis and are arrested.
"This car stopped leaving Blackpool.
