Bury Road
A CYCLIST is in hospital after suffering head injuries following a crash.
Emergency services, including ambulance crews, attended reports of an RTC in Bury Road, Turton, shortly before 12.30pm.
The North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) said that a woman in her 50s was taken to Salford Royal hospital with head injuries.
The scene, just outside Edgworth, was briefly blocked off by emergency services while they dealt with the incident.
The road has now been reopened.
