ONE more patient has sadly died at Warrington Hospital after testing positive for Covid-19.

This means a total of 115 people have now lost their lives at the Trust.

Across the borough, 745 residents have tested positive for the virus.

This does not include those who are self-isolating at home with symptoms.

In England, further 157 people who tested positive for Covid-19 have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals to 25,534.

Patients were aged between 12 and 100 years old. 

Seven of the 157 patients (aged between 57 and 88) had no known underlying health condition.
