THE outdoor tennis courts at Birchwood Leisure and Tennis Centre and Great Sankey Neighbourhood Hub have re-opened to the public.
Courts have been closed during the coronavirus lockdown period but are now available in one-hour time slots to LiveWire members for free.
People who do not have a LiveWire select membership can book a court at a cost of £6.40 per session.
Courts are available for hire seven days a week, between the hours of 7am and 7.50pm.
Sessions must be pre-booked as there is no way of booking on site.
All court bookings must be made by calling 572504 between the hours of 7am and 5pm.
To support social distancing, each site will have only two of the four courts available for hire.
People aged 14 or under can hire a court, but an adult must attend with them.
Where attendance of a parent/guardian (non-participant) is required, it must be limited to one adult where possible.
Initially, people can only book one slot per day but this will be reviewed in accordance with demand.
