A ROLLS Royce belonging to comedian Eric Morecambe had found a new home in East Lancashire in 2004.
Lionel Snowden and his business partners, Bernadette Keegan and Ann Kershaw, had set up Burnley-based business Legend Cars.
One of their first acquisitions was the ‘Roller’ which they bought at auction in London. The car, complete with private registration plate EM100 had 74,000 miles on the clock and was put up for sale by the comedian’s widow Joan.
Lionel said: “We hope to use it for charity and film work. It’s certainly a car people recognise.
“When I’ve been driving it around, I’ve had people point and wave at me all the time.”
