POLICE have called the bomb squad in after fireworks were discovered at the scene of a deliberate fire in the city's Gallowgate.
The force confirmed that they required the specialist assistance of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) after discovering the materials while investigating the fire which is now being treated as deliberate.
We previously reported how six fire engines were called to the fire within a shop off the Gallowgate at its junction with Moir Street.
A reader said: "There was a fire there on Saturday. There was a forensics team there yesterday and then the bomb squad today."

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "We received a report of a fire within a shop on Gallowgate, Glasgow, around 5.30 pm on Saturday, May 16.
"Nobody was injured as a result of the fire which is being treated as wilful.
"Fireworks were found within the property and the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team were contacted to safely remove them.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
