A driver has been taken to hospital after a car crash in Rishton caused one of the vehicles to catch fire.
Two vehicles collided on Harwood Road at around 6pm on Saturday evening.
It is believed two people, both in their 30s, were involved in the incident, and one was admitted to hospital.
The injured driver had to be rescued from their vehicle, before they were treated by paramedics and taken to a nearby hospital.
A Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Two fire engines from Hyndburn and Great Harwood were called to a road traffic collision involving two vehicles on Harwood Road, Rishton.
"Firefighters released one person from one of the vehicles and they were treated by NWAS before being taken to hospital."
The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
