Warning: Police have urged people to be cautious about an increase in thefts
NEIGHBOURHOOD police in Hyndburn have issued a warning to members of the public about a recent increase in thefts.
In particular there has been in increase in items such as tools and bikes stolen from garages and sheds in the area.
Residents are advised not to store valuable items such as bikes in sheds and to ensure that garages and all out buildings are secure at all times.
Report suspicious activity on 101 or call 999 if a crime is in progress.
