Firefighters in Burnley were called to the scene of an external blaze on St James' Street in the early hours of this morning.
They arrived at the scene at round 12:30am to find a pile of rubbish had caught fire at the rear of the street.
Four firefighters attended the scene and were able to extinguish the blaze using one hose reel.
They remained at the scene for one hour before returning to their station.
