Players from the Ribble Valley Netball Club have been keeping their team spirit alive despite not being able to practise together.

Youngsters from the Ribble Robins Under 12s team made this cute video during lockdown, which shows them passing a netball between one another while performing some nifty tricks.

Committee member, Neil Thompson said: "The girls are most passionate about netball and away from the courts they are all very close friends.

"Thankfully, everyone is embracing the digital arena during the coronavirus lockdown.

"And despite training and matches being put on hold, the coaches have been setting the girls drills, exercises and challenges to keep them busy; including team challenges like what the girls are doing in this video.

"Ribble Valley Netball Club is such a special club. No matter what age or ability, every one of them are stars in their own right.

"Being on the committee I couldn’t be prouder of being part of this club.

"And when this blows over we hope to see more new faces down at Oakhill Leisure Centre in Whalley."
