VOLUNTEERS were joined by MP Mark Logan to help the most vulnerable in the borough access essentials.
Last week, the elected official for Bolton North East spent a morning packing food supplies and delivering them to households most in need.
He said: “I’m thrilled to see so many residents coming together and pooling their resources at this difficult time.
"The initiative being taken to help the elderly and vulnerable is incredibly impressive and will make such a difference to those who can’t access basic supplies.”
Urban Outreach and Bolton at Home are driving the initiative out of the former Staples building at Trinity Retail Park.
Supplies are packed up each day before 10am before being driven out across the borough to people registered on the most vulnerable list collated by the NHS.
