A man with numerous medical conditions has not been seen for two days after absconding from hospital.

Peter Williams was being treated at Chorley and South Ribble Hospital, but on Saturday he left the hospital and has not been seen since.

Police are appealing for information as to his whereabouts as doctors are concerned he may be at risk of harm if he is not located.

A spokesperson for the police said: "Medical professionals are concerned regarding his medical conditions and may be at risk of harm due to these if he is not located.

"Medical professionals do not suspect COVID-19 however."

The 52-year-old is a white male, approximately five feet five inches tall and has a number of teeth missing.

He was last seen wearing a black top, blue jeans and a black sequined belt.

He is currently of no fixed abode but has links to Chorley and Preston.

Mr Williams was last seen on CCTV at 6.11pm on the April 4, getting onto the 125 bus to Preston at Chorley bus station.
