WALKERS have again been warned by police to obey advice on travelling in their cars to take exercise.
Barrow Police renewed the call after cars were spotted in the car park at Furness Abbey, as walkers enjoyed the scenery on a bright day.
Posting on Twitter, police said: "There are reports that some people are still struggling to understand government guidelines regarding not using your cars to drive to places to walk dogs and exercise.
"Please refrain from using your vehicles for unnecessary journeys.
"Help us to help you."
