POLICE have issued CCTV images aiming to identify one of two men wanted for stealing high-performance cars.
He is a suspect in two burglaries – one in Gladstone Close, Blackburn, where a Skoda VRS estate was taken and another in Colenso Road, Blackburn, where a BMW M3. The BMW has since been found by police in Merseyside, while the Skoda – registration BK18 CXX – is still missing.
The man is also wanted with the attempted burglary of an Audi RS4 in High Street, Belmont.
The offences took place between March 4 and March 9.
A police spokesman said: “On each occasion two male offenders approached the rear of the premises and snapped the lock in rear UPVC doors allowing them entry.
“Car keys have then been located and high performance vehicles stolen. The stolen vehicles have made their way to the Merseyside area immediately after their theft.”
