ACCORDING to the hype, electro-Mancs The Whip are in everybody's "Ones To Watch" lists.

With Sister Siam's plinky-plonky beats, screechy bleeps and some badly delivered lyrics that recall The Chemical Brothers' worst collaborations, this suggests that a lot of people have very limited imaginations or a love of derivative, sub-Chemicals, sub-Klaxons, sub-Gary Numan tunes.

But everyone is entitled to their own opinion, as sorely misguided as it may be: as The Whip rightly sing here, "You go your way and I'll go mine."

That's probably for the best, lads.
