A COMPANY founded by an East Lancashire star of The Apprentice is donating its brand of nut milk to frontline NHS workers.
Alternative milk brand M+LKPLUS, founded by Camilla Ainsworth from Mellor, is match-donating some of its products to key workers in the NHS.
Ms Ainsworth said she set up the ‘M+LK for heroes’ initiative to give something back to the thousands of NHS staff across the country risking their lives to beat coronavirus, describing them as the ‘heroes of the pandemic’.
Every four or eight ‘grab and go’ packs – available in strawberry cheesecake cashew and salted honeycomb hazelnut flavours – sold on Amazon will be matched and donated to help power NHS staff working on the front line.
A M+LKPLUS spokesperson said: “M+LKPLUS wants to give something back to doctors, nurses, and support staff crucially drafted in.
"With the situation making it hard for our legendary frontline workers to get the supplies they need out of work hours, M+LKPLUS hopes to give away as much M+LK as possible.”
