Confirmed cases of coronavirus have jumped by over 2,000 in 24 hours as over 100 people die.
Health officials confirmed that 578 people have now died with the virus, up from 463.
There are now 11,568 confirmed cases in the country.
Of the 107 deaths in England where patients had tested positive for COVID-19, all but two had underlying health conditions.
The two people without existing health problems were aged 71 and 86.
Patients were aged between 32 and 102 and their families have been informed.
There is currently no information on any new cases or deaths in Lancashire.
