Train lines have been blocked due to people trespassing on the railway.
Posting on Twitter just before 7am, Northern Assist said: "Due to trespassers on the railway between Blackburn and Colne some lines are blocked.
"Train services running to and from these stations may be cancelled or delayed by up to 30 minutes.
"Disruption is expected until 8am on March 26."
Passengers and customers should expect delays of up to 30 minutes on the morning services between Blackburn and Colne due to a trespass incident near Accrington.
Any passengers waiting on station platforms should listen for announcements or consult Customer Information Screens for up to date train running information.
