BOLTON Wanderers star Phil Brown helped launch a campaign to keep pensioners in the town warm in the winter of 1994.
Age Concern was running the Icebreaker campaign and heating manufacturers Potterton Myson which had a base on Nelson Street was a major supporter of it.
The company organised a charity five-a-side and Phil Brown was called on to launch it.
He is pictured with Wayne Smith, Peter Mawtus, Icebreaker mascot Charlie the dragon and Andy Gilhooly.
