PUPILS from Sacred Heart Primary School, Westhoughton, gathered on the playing field at the back of their school as a Bolton News photographer was flown over as part of a series of aerial photographs in 1991.
It looks as though they were enjoying an outdoor lesson or special event as a number of people sitting on chairs.
The houses on Central Drive can be seen in the background and the school sports pitches can be clearly seen.
