A WOMAN has been charged with drink driving after being found nearly three times over the limit in Breightmet.
Early on Sunday morning, police received a call from a member of the public who was following a car, where they believed the driver was drunk.
The car stopped on Dorchester Avenue and the member of the public stopped the woman from leaving before police arrived.
The woman was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and taken into police custody to be interviewed.
In custody, police say she provided a breath sample of 104 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35.
Melissa McCulloch, 35, of Dorchester Avenue, has now been charged with drink driving and driving with no insurance. McCulloch will appear at Bolton Magistrates Court on Tuesday 7th April 2020.
