It is nearly 30 years since some of these images were taken.

Here are ten great pictures from what was Billinge High School. The school based on Preston New Road, Blackburn went on to become Beardwood High School and then Beardwood Humanities College. Before then it was a grammar school.

The school closed in 2012 when Tauheedul Girls High School moved from their home on Bicknell Street to the building.
